Studies are smaller pieces of original charcoal artwork which are created much more freely and quickly than the more refined, larger pieces of work.
These one off pieces of artwork are often my way of getting ideas down on paper, usually over a few hours.
If you're looking for a more affordable and truly unique (I never make prints of studies) piece of original charcoal artwork, please look through these studies and see if anything speaks to you.
